They say “an apple a day keeps the doctor away” but what about a glass of wine?
Well, while it might not keep the doctor away for good, the news – the very good news come from the latest studies that show that there actually are health benefits from drinking wine (in moderate consumption, defined by the American Heart Association as one to two four-ounce glasses a day)
One of the antioxidants that can be found in wine is Resveratrol, which is known to have the most beneficial effect and which can be found in the skin of grapes.
Needless to say, moderation is the key so make sure to keep this in mind in order not to turn these benefits into something else.
