Burn 500 Calories in Just 30 Minutes

We’d all like to commit a few evenings a week for going to the gym and getting a proper workout, but for many of us, our hectic lifestyles make it difficult or even impossible to honour that commitment consistently. However, there are numerous workouts you could try that will provide challenging exercise in just 30 minutes and can be done from home without even the need for purchasing gym equipment.

My Fitness Boutiquegot in contact with us to share their infographic detailing a variety of workouts which could potentially burn 500 calories inside half an hour, giving you plenty of bang for your physical buck. From jogging and sprinting to upper body exercise and cycling routines, there’s sure to be a workout that covers the forms of exercise you enjoy most.

One thing to note before you tear into these workouts, though – they are tough going. Unlike longer-form exercises where you can nicely pace yourself, 30-minute routines are quite intense and should only be attempted if you already obtain a decent amount of exercise. The step up from inactivity to a high-intensity workout is far too steep to be tackled in one go and could end up doing more harm than good if you try to take on too much, too soon.

Check out the infographic below for a series of 30-minute workouts that can help you to burn off plenty of empty calories.
